Random Babbling

It feels like lately I've been catching up with alot of old  friends that I haven't talked to for awhile. On friday, I was feeling kind of down so I called Brewer and he and Annie took me to Goros sushi for the frist time. Then out of no where I recieved a random 1am call from son just to let me know hes mad at me for neglecting him (haha aka in son lingo that means he misses me). Saturday night Ailee, Aileen and I drove to santa monica to try out overpriced moroccan food and chill on a VERY swanky LA resteraunt in the hills and just a few minutes ago I found out that Dianne has a facebook account :O

haha I guess my point is that I've never noticed how much I've missed my friends. It still makes me sad though that I've lost contact with some really important people in my life like my tkd family but at the same time I've become really close with others (like my roomies who randomly bake me brownies and cake) and I'm grateful for them because they make homesickness better. Sometimes its still hard to deal with living in socal even though I've been here for 3 years. It doesn't feel like home because my parents aren't here but then again home doesn't feel like home anymore either because I'm too use to the freedom.

Work has been hectic espically now that I'm trying to balance 3 jobs at once and no amount of expresso can make me chipper enough to last 6 hours of serving snotty rich people their lattes. I HAVE discovered that creme brulee is my favorite coffee though (random fyi to kill time before going back to homework). Going on photo assignments for the newspaper is also demanding but it gives me a good chance to practice with my camera which we now call B-cubed for bitches before boys (courtesy of Brian, its catchy I like it!) Sports photos really gives you an adrenaline rush that you can't get from shooting still life or lectures.

When I look back at all the things that has happened since I came here it seems like there has been a tremendous amount of change in my life but living it in the present makes everything is the same. Yeah I think thats all I have to say... just felt like sharing tonight. END

belated birthday pictures

Late update I know its like september already but I just felt like posting.

My parents were so cute. They're really into internet cards now so they sent me a birthday card the night before and called me to make sure that I DON'T open it til the next morning.

My roomate Kaye also made me birthday cupcakes from scratch ...or a betty crocker box and brian, jason, ryon and rikin brought some more cake so basically I ate three different types of cake in 2 days.....ugh cake coma

hmmm xanga's photo album isn't working again.....i might have to post the rest later

sorry guys :[

economics is FUN for everyone!

2 more days til we celebrate the best national holiday ever.. can u guess which one?

heres a few hints:
1)  19 years and two days ago a sperm met an egg and their conjunction created what many believes to be a scientific miracle of a perfect human being.
2) it involves presents but not from a fat pedofile in a red jumpsuite
3) there is going to be fire.... alot alot of fire. (sigh)

haha yes im full of it but then you've probably just wasted the last 10 minutes of your life reading this so i guess were even!

awhile ago i saw this shop on unwrapped and decided that before I died I just had to have a cake from here cause the almighty food network channel commanded me to. This was from a month ago when my parents decided to go with me to fulfill my destiny...

and this is what happened afterwards.....my $7 pre-birthday cake that my dad dropped infront of my face and my mom ate while i was left devastated in the bathroom. I never even had a bite :'[
